Strategic roadmapping
Before you spend money on a website or web app, you need to know exactly what you're building. That's where roadmapping comes in.
The most effective websites and apps start with detailed strategy work, a critical phase that's often skipped but shouldn't be.
While it's uncommon for agencies and developers to offer this service, its importance cannot be overstated. This is often why projects fail: teams jump straight into building mockups or wireframes without understanding what they're trying to achieve.
I help you create a complete plan for your website or app before you start talking to agencies or developers. Think of it as creating detailed architectural blueprints before construction begins.
Since I don't build the websites or apps myself (despite having years of experience doing exactly that), my advice stays completely neutral. I'm not trying to sell you on any particular developer or technology. My only goal is to help you figure out what you actually need. There's no upselling and no bias toward companies that might pay me commissions (which I always refuse).
What you get is a technical blueprint that any competent developer can understand and follow. It includes all the specifications, features, and requirements written in a way that prevents confusion and scope creep later. When you approach developers for quotes, you'll know exactly what to ask for, making it easier to compare proposals and avoid costly surprises.
This planning process typically saves money by preventing mistakes, reducing back-and-forth communication, and ensuring you get it right from the start.
